Ben started his athletic journey at school level and progressed from there realising the hurdles was his strongest event and this became his focus. Now with his power and strength Ben also races in the 400m and became the UK Indoor Champion in 2022. He represented Great Britain & Northern Ireland at the 2022 World Indoor Championships as part of the 4x400m relay team.

He studies and trains in Loughborough and runs for Sheffield and Dearne under coach Stew Marshall.

Outside of sport Ben’s passion is anatomy and he runs a sports therapy business. He enjoys the outdoors, particularly hiking up mountains and is a huge Manchester City Fan.
