Born in 2005 in Cape Town, South Africa, Caitlin started her cricket career at the age of 12. She became a professional cricketer in 2022 and represents Western Province Senior Team as the opening bowler.

In March 2024 Caitlin represented South Africa Emerging Women in the African Games.

She continues to play cricket for Somerset West Cricket Club in the Western Province Women's Premier league.
