Juma is a right-arm bowling all-rounder who has been a regular for the Uganda national team since 2022. He made his mark on the cricketing world at the Under-19 Cricket World Cup hosted by the West Indies in 2022. With a series of strong performances at Under-19 level, he was called up to the national men's team and made his senior international debut in April of 2022 against Namibia. He then went on to represent Uganda at the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

Juma has been a regular in the senior national team since his debut, having played an impressive 26 T20 Internationals before the age of 22. He has also been entrusted with the vice captaincy.
